A little bit of green tissue, glue and a pencil can go a long way. Fine motor skills put to the test and our pre-k’s are up to the task! A happy St. Patrick’s day to all!

Moving and grooving with “Cat in the hat” and “Green eggs and ham”!

Dig this! Pre-k’s countimg T-Rex triangle teeth by the dozen and role playing a pre-historic dramatic duo!

Our “Occupation” today had us be employees of the US Postal Service.

Theย pre-k’s culminating event forย the two week unit ‘Occupations’ was our 4 year olds turning into little Chef’s and preparing fried bananas to celebrate Chinese Lunar New Year! We used 4 of the kitchen utensils that were in the mystery box and ‘measured’, ‘poured’, ‘sliced’ and ‘folded’ were some of the actions and vocabulary used.

Texas teasing us with “winter weather” keeps pre-k’s busy in an imaginary way!

This morning to honor this year’s teams, we made New England Clam Chowder for the Patriots and mini PhillyCheese Steak ๐ roll ups.
The children experienced lots of tactile stimulation, assembly and proper hand washing skills.
The team work paid off with a successful taste test and tailgate.
Best wishes to all this upcoming weekend’s family events and the Patriots and Eagles teams as they seek victory!
