Dot to dot was never so much fun!
After reading “Leprechaun on the Loose” we used paper plates and Bingo dots to create rainbows!
Friday, we will set the leprechaun trap and see what treasure will be in our class Monday….hopefully a pot of GOLD! Wear your green Saturday!

Valentines Deliveries
Our “Occupation” today had us be employees of the US Postal Service.
It is time to spread the LOVE and communicate with our classmates via cards and goodies galore!

Chinese Lunar New Year!
The pre-k’s culminating event for the two week unit ‘Occupations’ was our 4 year olds turning into little Chef’s and preparing fried bananas to celebrate Chinese Lunar New Year! We used 4 of the kitchen utensils that were in the mystery box and ‘measured’, ‘poured’, ‘sliced’ and ‘folded’ were some of the actions and vocabulary used.
A yummy international treat for all, as well as honoring our Asian family’s
annual traditions and cultures!
Winter Weather
Texas teasing us with “winter weather” keeps pre-k’s busy in an imaginary way!
Cho-cho skewers, cotton balls, winter dress up clothes and a paper fireplace sets the stage…followed by real microwave s’mores makes for an afternoon of YUM!

The Big Game: Super bowl ideas for kids
This morning to honor this year’s teams, we made New England Clam Chowder for the Patriots and mini PhillyCheese Steak 🏈 roll ups.
The children experienced lots of tactile stimulation, assembly and proper hand washing skills.
The team work paid off with a successful taste test and tailgate.
Best wishes to all this upcoming weekend’s family events and the Patriots and Eagles teams as they seek victory!
